About Kabupaten Malaka
Malaka is one of the newest regencies in NTT, established in 2013, located on the border with East Timor. It was formed to enhance administrative efficiency in the border area. The region is predominantly agricultural and shares a similar cultural and ethnic background with other parts of Timor. Its development is focused on infrastructure and improving border security.
